The challenge was to compose a 3D massing using a column beam-slab structure in conjuncture with vernacular materials to create a seamless transition between the indoor and the outdoor.

A restaurant within the nature resort, Area 83. The design intent was to be the least domineering upon existing ecosystem of the site.
No trees were felled for this project and the building footprint was developed around the existing tree cover. Limiting the number of walls and allowing for natural lighting and ventilation reduces the energy consumption of the building

a modern home designed using only perpendicular angles. The house features a double height living space, 3 bedrooms and spacious kitchen/dining area in a compact 30'x40' plot of land.
